modern slavery in indonesia

Updated: Feb 12, 2021

Indonesia is the 4th most populous country in the world, so it's no surprise that it ranks seventh in human trafficking. Conservatively, there are over 1.2 million people exploited as human slaves just this year in Indonesia (Statista.com). Will we ever know the real number of victims? Because Indonesia is extremely religious, combined with being a shame/honor society, Indonesia will likely never know the true number of those trapped in sexual slavery.

"1.2 million in just Indonesia?...That number is unimaginable. Surely, there is nothing I can do."

What if astronauts never imagined it was possible to leave the earth and explore space?

What if cancer researchers had woken up one morning and said, "Cancer is too strong, we can't save lives!"?

Life would be so different!

Now, imagine how life could be so different IF, just IF, you and I believe together it's within our realm of ability to end human trafficking.

We say..."Let's try!"

Amazing things are done by ordinary people who had a dream. With all of us working together, we are more than JUST one, we are a team and a vehicle that God puts His strength and love behind and with Him, we can move mountains. His arm is not too short to save, and He will empower us to do good works preordained before the foundation of the world. Won't you join us? Come, be a part of something that really matters!
